Welcome!

August 22nd, 2017

It was a busy summer at Sunset Point with two new RTM homes/cottages being brought in, another built on location earlier this spring and two garages that went up. That brings the total number of homes/cottages to 21 with 19 on the lakefront side.

The community is growing and changing every year with a fabulous mix of residents. It’s awesome to see the variety and styles of homes and the creativeness in landscaping.

Live life at the lake

July 21st, 2017

Lake living. You see the words on the ads, you dream about and you wonder how you can make it happen. With the reasonably priced inland lots available at Sunset Point you can make it happen.

The lots are already serviced with municipal water and hydro and you get a great view of the lake. Plus with three public access points, you can still enjoy all the activities you love on the lake. Consider the lots that are available and then start planning where to set up your hammock up once you’re living a fabulous life at the lake!

Extending Summer

September 7th, 2016

Well, just like that and it’s all over. I think a lot of people across the province spent the September Long Weekend pulling in the docks and boat lifts and trying to jam all the summer toys into the shed for the winter that will be here before we know it.

Since the First Day of Autumn is still 15 days away, I say we all pretend that it really is still summer and wear our shorts on days that it’s above 18 degrees celsius and take the non-motorized floating devicesĀ a.k.a canoes, paddle boards and kayaks onto the lake whenever we possibly can.

Let’s light one more campfire and have another round of S’mores, let’s still try to catch a lightning bug or watch the Northern Lights. Let’s spend time outdoors and get as much vitamin D in our systems as possible.

I do love fall, but I’m just not ready for it yet. What do you say, is it a deal? Let’s take summer to its limits!
